Military Services Coordinator, LONDON

An opportunity has risen for a Military Services Coordinator in our prestigious flagship store on Savile Row, London. Representing a luxury brand, you will be supporting the Military Supervisor in the day to day of the department including supporting with the Royal Warrants, develop and drive sales, also supporting Military and Bespoke finishing as necessary.

Duties will include daily liaison with Branch and Ecommerce teams regarding the Military website, sales support and administration including picking and packing. Website Stock transfer and allocation with support from Distribution Centre and stock control. Manage administration regarding invoicing, support the Military supervisor as point of contact for daily communication from HMBG. Work with Bespoke cutters and tailors on bespoke orders and support with bespoke fittings and adjustments.

SENIOR SALES ASSOCIATE, LONDON

An opportunity has risen for a Senior Sales Associate in our Flagship Store in London. Representing a luxury brand, you will be responsible for supporting the Assistant Manager – Ready to Wear to deliver exceptional levels of customer service and operational standards at the flagship store.

Sales

• Support the store to achieve company budgets through the achievement of your personal sales targets and KPI targets

• Protect the company’s profit by selling stock accurately

Services

• Initial contact for customer issues / complaints, establish the detail and resolve or escalate / seek further advice where necessary

• Identify training needs within the RTW team, discuss with Manager and support in the delivery of the necessary training / mentoring

• Support Manager with the new Clientelling programme when launched

• Encourage team to offer hospitality to customers

• Welcome and acknowledge customers as they enter the store

• Have excellent product knowledge, providing accurate information of the features and benefits to the customer

• Determine the needs of the customer and deliver supportive advice

• Maintain a high level of personal presentation in line with the company dress code, as well as good personal hygiene and grooming standards

Operations

• Support the Manager to ensure the team deliver a seamless alterations service, from the fitting through to the collection, checking that store procedures are completed accurately and flagging any customer issues or re-alterations required to Manager

• Confirm that each team member is completing the alteration dockets correctly and that they are managing their clients’ alterations daily

• Oversee team deployment, lunches / breaks, maximise opportunities at quiet and peak times, ensure the shop floor standards are maintained throughout the day and that the recovery of the store is completed at end of each day before the team leave

• Ensure that accurate daily replenishment is completed in a timely manner and that all items are steamed, tagged and ready for the sales floor

• Assist with till / banking operations

• Assist with completing weekly audit reports

• Support in set up and execution of stock take

You will have previous experience in a customer focused environment and ideally experience in a luxury environment. Experience in tailoring and/or luxury menswear will be highly beneficial. ASSISTANT MANAGER - READY TO WEAR, LONDON

Overview of Role:

The Assistant Manager’s key function is to optimise the potential of the RTW department through exceptional team performance, commercial floor layout and VM standards. Supporting the Store Manager in the delivery of outstanding customer care and service throughout the whole business to achieve annual retail sales budget

You will be direct line management of the RTW team, ensure compliance to procedures, optimise sales performance, drive client relationship management and grow future business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales

• Support the store to achieve company financial targets through the achievement of the RTW sales and KPI budgets

• Protect the company’s profit by selling stock accurately

• Support in maintaining a low stock loss result

• Support in driving successful store events to build a wider audience and understanding/respect for the brand, assist with store tours

• Ensure the shop floor layout is always commercially-led with exceptional standards and presentation

• Monitor missed sales and opportunities weekly and flag these in weekly trade report

• Impact on buying decisions and stock package/stock movement through collating impactful data and feedback and sharing this on a weekly basis through the trade report and the trade meeting

Service

• Ensure RTW team greet and engage with every customer and that hospitality and tours of the store are freely available and offered

• Manage and resolve RTW customer issues/complaints within 24 hours, establish the detail and resolve or escalate/seek further advice where necessary

• Identify training needs within the RTW team, ensure these needs are addressed within the weekly training programme and support in the delivery of the necessary training/mentoring

• Support Store Manager to drive and optimise the Client Relationship Management (CRM) programme to develop loyalty and repeat business

• Ensure excellent brand product knowledge, providing accurate information of the features and benefits to the customer and team

• Maintain a high level of personal presentation in line with the company dress code, as well as good personal hygiene and grooming standards

• Adapt service style for each individual customer, always lead by example

Operations

• Ensure the team deliver a seamless alterations service, from the fitting through to the collection, check that store procedures are completed accurately and flag any customer issues or re-alterations required – organise additional training where necessary

• Confirm that each team member is completing the alteration dockets correctly and that they are managing their clients’ alterations daily

• Oversee team deployment, lunches/breaks, maximise opportunities at quiet and peak times, ensure the shop floor standards are maintained throughout the day and that the recovery of the store is completed at end of each day before the team leave

• Carry out daily floor walks to ensure visual excellence and compliance with H&S / Company procedures

• Ensure that accurate daily replenishment is completed in a timely manner and that all items are steamed, tagged and ready for the sales floor

• Assist with till/banking operations – morning and night and escalate any till issues immediately

• Complete weekly audit reports

• Support in set up and execution of stocktake

• Organise staffing to support with events or instore activities

• Assess stock levels and take action, liaising closely with Stockroom Manager and the Merchandising team

• Play key role in weekly commercial floor walk with Buyer and Merchandisers

• Complete trade report weekly, identifying positives and opportunities, understand the impact of actions

• Support Operations team with cycle counts

Team

• Carry out weekly / monthly reviews with team members – assess current performance and initiate any further support/training required.

• Support Store Manager to deliver a weekly training programme, enlisting external and internal speakers as well as ensuring a weekly health and safety training takes place

• Adhere to company review processes and support the store manager in the development of store talent.

• Identify opportunities and concerns within team and discuss with Store Manager

• Deal with poor performance promptly and professionally, complete necessary HR paperwork and share with Store Manager and HR

Made to Measure Specialist, London

Overview of Role:

An exciting opportunity has risen for a Made to Measure Specialist in our prestigious flagship store on Savile Row, London. Representing a luxury brand, the Made to Measure Specialist is the face of Gieves and Hawkes to the customer and is responsible for providing them a complete shopping experience. The role acts as an ambassador of the brand in line with business goals and achieves sales targets as outlined by your line manager, supporting the overall growth and profitability of the store.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales

• Increase sales by selecting products to meet customer requirements whilst highlighting the features & benefits of the product and by offering related products wherever appropriate

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all products within own business; use this information to meet the needs of the customer

• Give accurate and current information about the product; if the correct information is not at hand, do everything possible to provide an accurate answer

Service

• Demonstrate that every opportunity to satisfy the customer has been explored, within the given parameters

• Determine the needs of the customer and deliver supportive advice

• Maintain a high level of personal presentation in line with company dress code, as well as good personal hygiene and grooming standards

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt service requirements to the customer

• Maintain key information about your best customers in order to provide them with exceptional levels of service. Use available company tools, such as data capture consistently for support

• Use clientelling to deliver increased sales through effective up selling and cross selling

• Obtain feedback on products and services from customers and communicate to buying and Retail team

Communication

• Communication plan on training of MTM and alterations, as well as arrange product changes throughout the season

• Responsible for contributing to an open and effective communication channel within the team

Operations

• Adhere to store scheduling, arrive to store ahead of shift, ready to start work at your rostered time

• Ensuring all stock counts are completed regularly and you adhere to Health & Safety policy

• Regular update and feedback meetings with your Manager and Buying team, suggesting alternative cloths and provide feedback through customers’ comments

• Accountable for the full MTM fabric introduction, measurements, garment trial, alteration, order entry, after sales service and customer collections

• Thorough knowledge of ready to wear and MTM products as to inspire customers' trust especially with regards to providing technical competency in MTM and styling advice

• Be responsible for communication to customers and regional store teams on all MTM products

• Update Manager on ongoing basis on MTM business, training requirements and other opportunities

• Take ownership for weekly and bi-annual stock takes and follow up on any discrepancies

• Customer collections to be managed through pushing the completed orders weekly and updating on overall plan to drive trade in Savile Row
