Bespoke Tailor Apprentice

We have an opportunity for an experienced apprentice to join our reputable bespoke team. The ideal candidate needs to have 3 years tailoring experience and a sound understanding of Savile Row tailoring. Made to Measure Administrator, London

An opportunity has risen for a Made to Measure Administrator in our prestigious flagship store on Savile Row, London. Representing a luxury brand, you will be supporting the Bespoke and MTM Coordinator in the day to day of the role and providing appropriate Holiday Cover for them

Main Responsibilities: Admin

• Monitoring prices and deposits on MTM orders

• Raise purchase orders using Nav Microsoft (update Purchase orders, release and post POs)

• Answering all incoming calls / emails

• Process MTM orders for all Stores on a daily basis ( Birmingham, Bath, Chester, Liverpool, Winchester )

• Daily coordination of any administrative matters of the department (Arranging UPS & couriers)

• Updating customer data base at all times

• Ordering fabric, fabric patterns, swatches from suppliers and following up with the team

• Monitoring stationery and reordering when stock is low

• Assisting with payments over the phone when needed

• Producing and sending invoices, checking customer credit and being in constant contact with the finance department making sure money transfers have been received- when necessary

• Updating MTM WIP Daily with all costs

• Sending updated WIPs to all stores and Out of stock & discontinued fabric update

• Update cloth book prices (2 times a year) MTM

• Raise and receipt back-to-back Purchase Orders for materials and make costs for MTM

• Review and confirm all MTM purchases have been received and completed

• Monitor customer deposit for MTM and investigate any discrepancies

• Processing MTM orders received from Savile Row & all other stores in UK (Bath, Birmingham, Chester, Liverpool and Winchester) on a daily basis.

Cutter, Savile Row, LONDON

We have an opportunity for an experienced Cutter to join our reputable bespoke team. The ideal candidate needs to have at least 7 years Cutting room experience and a sound understanding of Savile Row tailoring.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating the cutting and production of bespoke orders:

 

•Participating in the selling of bespoke suits to customers including recommendations on the selection of cloth, shape and style;

•Measuring customers and conducting fittings;

•Cutting patterns and cloth for the production of bespoke suits and similar garments;

•Overseeing the end-to-end bespoke production process, including the management of tailoring timings and costs ;

•Managing quality standards for all bespoke garments;

DEPUTY STORE MANAGER - STORE MANAGER, LONDON

An opportunity has risen for a Deputy Store Manager for Made to Measure in our prestigious flagship store on Savile Row, London.

The Deputy Store Manager – Made to Measure (MTM) will be responsible for the No.1 Savile Row customer outreach as well as delivering the clientelling vision in MTM which you will work closely with your Store Manager to devise a clear strategy for.

A key part of the role is to maintain a cleintelling culture and ensure the team are delivering client orders to specification through exceptional operational standards. You will also be required to manage, coach and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service in all areas of responsibility.

In regards to operations, you will be working with the Deputy Store Manager – Ready to wear and Operations to ensure stock accuracy within the department, in line with company policy. Additionally, in order to capitalise on business opportunities, you will maintain up-to-date knowledge of MTM service industry developments in order to present findings back to the store manager.

• Ideally already working in an assistant manager role with Made to measure and client experience, preferably in the luxury industry

• Have a basic understanding of commerciality and KPI measurements

• Ability to be flexible in working schedules

• Computer skills ability to use of Office Works, with high level of Excel knowledge

• Strong customer services focus when dealing with both internal and external parties

• Component Literacy & Numeracy Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written

• 5 out 7 days working weekends and late nights

• Ability to support other key managerial role in absence their presence in store

An opportunity has risen for a Made to Measure Specialist in our prestigious flagship store on Savile Row, London. Representing a luxury brand, the Made to Measure Specialist is the face of Gieves and Hawkes to the customer and is responsible for providing them a complete shopping experience. The role acts as an ambassador of the brand in line with business goals and achieves sales targets as outlined by your line manager, supporting the overall growth and profitability of the store.

Main Responsibilities:

• Increase sales by selecting products to meet customer requirements whilst highlighting the features & benefits of the product and by offering related products wherever appropriate.

• Support the store to achieve company budgets through the achievement of your KPI targets.

• Protect the company’s profit by selling stock accurately.

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all products within own business; use this information to meet the needs of the customer.

• Give accurate and current information about the product; if the correct information is not at hand, do everything possible to provide an accurate answer.

• Handle refunds with responsibility and integrity and turn them into sales opportunities

CLIENT EXPERIENCE ASSOCIATE, SAVILE ROW, LONDON

Overview of Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Client Experience Associate to support the Flagship Store Manager in the delivering of an elevated, exceptional service proposition at No1 Savile Row. This role will also ensure we surprise and delight our customers with our exceptional service offer by acting as an ambassador of the brand. Additionally, you will also work in line with business goals and achieve objectives as outlined by your line manager, supporting the overall growth and profitability of the store.

Operations

• Answer calls to the store

• Offer hospitality to customers in the store and carry out hospitality training with team

• Manage the Savile Row email, responding to enquires in a timely manner, establishing facts, customer requirements and escalating/seeking advice where necessary

• Organise the use of couriers or postal deliveries, ensuring item is packaged well to surprise and delight the customer, track order and identify/respond to issues quickly

• Maintain the bar, standards and supplies, ordering stock

• Carry out the hospitality audit

• Help organise and take part in in-store events

• Support Manager with new Clientelling programme launch and focus

• Mentor team on clientelling

• Host on shopfloor during peak times, organising appointments, offering hospitality, managing customers expectations
