The Gieves & Hawkes Made to Measure service is the ideal option for the man who wants the freedom to create their own truly personalised garment, or for those who wish to add subtle details and touches to items in our RTW collection.
From your first consultation to your final fitting, our Made to Measure journey unfolds across four considered stages.
To book your first appointment, you can either use our online calendar to select a time and day at any one of our boutiques, call your nearest store, or visit us in person.
When you arrive for your first consultation, we walk you through the entire process which is split into 3 core steps.
Once your consultant has found the correct fit for you, they then take a series of precise measurements. All of which are recorded and saved to your private profile, so that every time you return, we have your exact measurements that we can refer to for future orders.
Our reputation and heritage mean we have longstanding relationships with the finest mills and fabric merchants across the globe, giving you access to the most comprehensive library. Several mills produce exclusive fabrics and patterns for Gieves & Hawkes.
Having chosen your cloth and had measurements taken it is time to select your personal touches. From lapel style and width, jacket type and closure, through to lining colour and pocket styles. For trousers: belt loops, side adjusters, or brace buttons, turn-ups or a plain finish, pleating and more.
In just 6-8 weeks your garment will be created with the utmost care and attention. Once ready, we will invite you back for your fitting.
If any further adjustments are required, these last refinements will be amended on site by one of our tailors.
