All military orders can be shipped via the British Forces Post Office (BFPO). Delivery times and processes may vary depending on location and service requirements.

Address Format
To send items via BFPO, please use the following format:

  • Name: Service number, rank or title, and full name
  • Address: Unit, regiment, or HM Ship
  • Company: Operation (if deployed)
  • City: BFPO number

For family members:

  • Name of dependent: c/o service number, rank, and full name

For non-service personnel:

  • Include staff number (if available), followed by full name

 

Taxes & Duties

All international orders are shipped on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. This means duties, taxes, and administrative fees are included at checkout, ensuring no additional charges on delivery.

At Gieves & Hawkes, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, here’s what you need to know about returns, exchanges, and shipping. Refunds cover the value of returned items only and are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–7 working days of receipt, depending on your bank.

Return Shipping
You may use your own courier. All shipping costs are your responsibility. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot issue a refund for items lost in transit without proof of delivery. 
 

International Returns

  • A handling fee will be deducted from your refund when using the provided return label or portal.

Exceptions
Personalised, custom, or altered items cannot be returned unless faulty
 
Canada Only
In the event of a return, a full refund of any duties and taxes paid at checkout will be issued in addition to the cost of the returned items.
 

Faulty Goods / Reclamation

Goods are considered faulty if they are received damaged or if a manufacturing defect occurs within 12 months of purchase.
If you receive a faulty item, please return it for inspection. You may use the pre-printed return form and label included in your parcel. If the label is not available, contact Customer Care at customercare@gievesandhawkes.com for assistance.
Items that have been worn or used beyond trying on cannot be accepted as faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order prior to dispatch, contact customercare@gievesandhawkes.com.
While we will make every effort to accommodate your request, cancellation cannot be guaranteed once an order has been placed.

Exchanges

Direct exchanges are not offered. To request a different size, colour, or style, return the original item and place a new order.
